Leadership Coaching
Hi,
My name is Gill Graves and I specialise in leadership coaching.
In recent conversations with leaders across a wide range of organisations and market sectors, we've discovered remarkable similarities in the kinds of dilemmas being faced as they plan to meet their 2009 goals against the backdrop of a recession. For example:
How do I find a sounding board for new ideas?
What makes a great leader?
How do I further enhance my leadership skills
How do I develop the people that we have already got?
How do I develop a more strategic perspective?
How can I best handle conflict to improve productivity?
How can I improve morale?
How can I improve the top line?
How can I improve the bottom line?
Who can help me in my quest to be successful?
A recent large-scale survey by the CIPD highlighted these tricky, but common place, dilemmas as ones which are particularly well suited to coaching interventions.
I worked as a HR director for a multinational company before setting up Iridium in 2000. I have a MA in Coaching and Mentoring and have experience of successfully coaching leaders across a range of organisations.

I look forward to talking with you.
Gill.
A definition of leadership coaching
At Iridium we use the following definition of leadership coaching:
The overall purpose of leadership coaching is to enable leaders to be successful in an increasingly competitive and pressurised world by taking responsibility and control of their own learning and development in order to:
Develop their skills
Improve their performance
Maximise their potential, and
Become the successful leader they want to be.
As such we view coaching as a holistic and learning-focused approach with an emphasis on personal skills and attributes underpinned by the use of appropriate tools and techniques.
Why Iridium?
